The entire property is just lovely! From the lobby to the courtyard to our rooms, we enjoyed every aspect. The lobby is full of comfortable couches, has a fire burning, and a pianist in the evenings. Delightful! Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and the bed was perfect as far as comfort and quality of linens. Everything was very clean. Turn-down service was a nice touch, as were the snacks provided in our room at arrival. The bathroom was also very spacious and had fabulous water pressure. Parking was very easy and the concierge was very helpful with recommendations as well. It was so nice to have a comfortable spot to rest after a busy day sightseeing and my family enjoyed both the pool and jacuzzi in the evenings.

The city is very clean and tidy. A visit to the stunning University College of Cork and the lovely Fitzgerald Park can take about half a day each as they are both so amazing. There is a public museum and cafe in Fitzgerald Park. There are many lovely views of the River Lee both in the city centre and around. There are lots of green spaces and the people were friendly. I only went for 3 days on a business trip but would have liked to have spent much more time there to see the other sights of interest such as the Blarney Castle, Cork Goal and Cobh - where the lovely coloured painted houses are. Two weeks in Cork would be ideal for me.

Great genealogy and family history day was held at the Cork County Archives. Very friendly staff and excellent speakers. I did not know this was an annual event that they held there and I would recommend it to anyone interested in genealogy. It was well attended and I understand it will be repeated next Thursday 18th April such was the demand for seats. I hope to return to the archives for research and to attend their annual family history day.

The city was great.
The city was great. Lots of shops and places to visit nearby. There are many hills so bear in mind if your about travelling. The Old City Goal is up a huge hill so Taxi there and walk back (downhill) Taxis are cheap enough to use but some of them are cheeky with the prices. The weather was good for our stay but remember to take an umbrella as it often rains unexpectedly.

First of all the buses are shocking , waited over an hour at the airport for a bus to cork city and returning found out they only run every hour !!!
But the city is wonderful , every type of shop you would want , lovely walks along the river and the people are so friendly , will definitely be returning!!
Room was modern and elegant. Loved that we could stream Netflix from our iPad to the room TV. Spacious, clean bathroom. In room amenities excellent. Standard size room was larger than expected. Hotel is like a boutique hotel. Front desk staff incredibly attentive and helpful. Would stay here every time we are in Cork. Best hotel we stayed at while traveling in Ireland.
Good location - just a short walk from City Centre. These are Student Dorms leased over the summer so they are a bit on the smaller side but were very clean and new! The room was pretty warm (unusually warm weather for Ireland ;) ) but they had fans available - you just had to leave a refundable deposit. Reception staff were great - thanks!
It’s location is close to the city centre but in a old, historic part of Cork City and adjoins the distinguished Shandon church. The hotel was a former hospital and the rooms including a number with circular walls seem spacious and comfortable. Staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet is varied and tasty.
Very nice hotel just on the outskirts of Cork. Checking in was very easy and staff very nice. Room well equiped and nice to have a coffee machine with a biscuit plus water. Very good sleep. We like to walk so no issue with location but it is a good walk to the city centre with not a lot around
The family made the stay exceptional. They are warm, generous people. If I return to Cork, I will definitely stay at Redclyffe. Also the location is perfect. There is a beautiful park behind the guest house. A beautiful place to enjoy the splendor of Ireland, especially Cork.
Fabulous hotel in a great location, close to the city centre. Lovely walk into town with lovely pubs and plenty of places to eat. Typical City with lost going on. Breakfast was good and had lots of choice. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Would stay here again !
The cleanliness of the hotel is A1.
The location is good within a short walk of Douglas village and bus ride from there to Cork city centre.
The adjoining Swimming Pool is great for relaxing.
The restaurant is quite good, varied menu and tasty food at a reasonable cost
It was a really nice experience, the host was very friendly and welcoming. It had all the facilities we needed, quite close to the city centre and nice neighborhood. We even got breakfast! Thank you so much for such a cozy stay. It truly was like a home that we needed.
Perfect for a weekend away, newly renovated, very spacious room and bathroom. It is close enough to the city centre that we could get a taxi in and out with ease. Plenty of parking out the front and easy access to the motorway to explore county cork.
Large, spacious bedroom. Nice bathroom. Quiet at night. Excellent breakfast and a great view from the dining room. Location is perfect for shopping in Cork city centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean throughout.
The hotel was close to the city centre. We were staying for a concert in Musgrave park so the location was good. The hotel was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Cork on that night.
LOVED the location (close to city centre) and bus stop. Also loved the coziness of the lobby and warmth of hotel staff. They made us feel welcomed every time we walked through their door.
Great hotel close to the city centre- Really nice bar area & restaurant. Also had a very good leisure centre- Staff were so friendly & helpful & just couldn’t do enough for us.
